Description
You may need ties of different sizes for each type of boot you intend to use the gaiters on.
- Durable 2 mm wire with a PVC sheath.
- Hook onto D-rings or eyelets.
- Hooks are flattened into place, but can be removed if required.
- Five sizes – S, M, L, XL, XXL
- Gaiter ties include the length of the hooks on each end.

Excellent. Hard wearing, low profile and easy to fit. I had the ‘key ring’ option previously. These had to be fitted on the gaiters prior to use which doesn’t work well with gaiters that don’t open up and have to be pulled on before footwear is put on.
The other problem I had with the ‘key ring’ time downs was snagging when walking through the Bush. The rings always seem to sit perpendicular to my footwear and often snagged on tree roots and anything else, my feet brushed past. Recently I was tripped up due to ne other rings having opened up so about 30mm of wire was sticking ot and catching on my other boot.
The hook tie-downs are low profile and aren’t susceptible to this issue.
